I will get revenge, Jonah, just you wait...

So here I am in Indiana. I' a little bit jet-lagged, as the state of Indiana does not observe daylight savings time. Why you might ask? I have no clue. My Aunt from Indiana tells me it's because they don't want to confuse the cows. Why can't the cows be confused? I'm sure they could deal with it. They're simple minded creatures. I'm not sure thet're even capable of being confused.

Anyways, back to my cousins. When were we on the subject? Why in the title, silly (Jonah blew his baritone in my ear, probably causing permanent damage, and will have to pay). Just incase you don't know my cousins (which most of you do who read this blog) they are among the wierdest people I have ever met. For instance, they never stop singing. Ever. Unless, of course, they are blowing baritones in their unsuspecting cousin's ear.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how I should get Jonah back, please respond in the comment box. Thanks. Much appreciated.

Stick a golf pencil up his nose while he's sleeping.

Thanks! Iwill definintley consider it. One porblem: This is not my house, and I have no idea if there are golf pencils anywhere, and I think jonah might catch onto my sceme if I asked him if he had any.
Keep thinking though! Anything is good.

he's got one, If he still has the IKEA pencil michael gave to him. and we don't observe daylight savings time because its stupid. whats the point? we don't save daylight by setting the clock back an hour. time measurement is an illusion, its only purpose is so people can syncronize and organize their actions. And don't even get me started on the pointlessness of Time Zones. Its now everywhere.

The purpose of daylight savings time is exactly what it sounds like - so you can go to bed when it's dark and get up when it's light as opposed to the other way around.

Time Zones serve the same purpose as Nathan explained- If there weren't time zones, then some people would go to bed when its light and wake up when its dark, and others would get half and half, which would be even more confusing. Granted, some time zones are messed up. All og CHina is in one time zone but they actually span 5. and NEwfoundlan has its own time zone, so they're half an hour off. very wierd, but it serves its purpose.

They would not go to bed when its light! they would just go to bed when its dark earlier or later, or whenever they want to, as it is. you know people don't go to bed at a given time, so whether it gets dark or eight or nine, it really doesnt matter. and on the time zone thing, once again, people don't go to bed at a given time, some people sleep durring the day anyway, it will just happen to be dark at 3:00 in the afternoon. Perhaps for the elimination of timezones, military time is used.

I care not of the sillyness of Daylight Savings Time, but I'd like to do whatever the rest of the country is doing, because it screws up my cable watching.

But if the time changes, everything - work, school, stores opening - gets earlier or later together. It makes it easier for people to go to bed and get up at the right times so that when they're awake it's light and when they're asleep it's dark.

I'm with nathan on this, but I have no idea, wut you just said, nathan. (he is very tired is the reason why it makes no sense. he's sitting next to me right now)
All right marten. Say that I was on your side and that we were going to abolish time zones. how would we decide which area got to keep with "normal" time? Most, if not all, time zones would want to keep their usual time. World War threee would brake out, and then the world would cease to exist as we know it.
Is abolishing time zones worth starting WW3? I think not
PS Jonah just said that he doesn't think that I have a point, that it was silly, but I should post it anyways. He is on the enemy side.

But if the time changes, everything - work, school, stores opening - gets earlier or later together.~ no nathan, your arguement does not work. people wouldn't get upearlier or later because they would still not get up at the same time. it would be light at 8 one place, then the stores at that place would open, and light at 9 or 10 at the next places and stores would open then at those respective places. we would not get up and go to sleep simultaneously. Aside, Time zones are fundamentally flawed any way. you cross a line, you lose or gain an hour, where as they way the earth itself actually turns its more like you move so many miles and gain or lose a minute. it just doesnt work.
