Everything is Rent

That's right guys. I saw Rent today, first showing at World Exchange Plaza after school (I love going to a school downtown). It was so good. Yes, the reviews sucked, but I liked it. A lot. I laughed, I cried, I mooed. Enoch and I mooed. Because we're awesomer than the stupid Hopwellies who went, and made fun of it. Whatever guys, you all suck.

I then went directly to Cantebury for the lit(erary arts) coffeehouse. My friend Lauren was reading at it, and Adam was there with Sarah. It was pretty good. The theme was "guilty pleasures" which meant a stage covered in teddy bears, and lot of Aqua and Spice Girls playing before the coffeehourse started. There was also a poster, where you were supposed to write down a guilty pleasure. I was the one who wrote "Alan Rickman is my hero <3", mostly because it's mine and Lauren's joke. Also because he's awesome enough to be Marvin and Snape :P. Anyway, someone named Mary wrote these lyrics whse wrote on the poster, and I liked them:

I dunno. I just liked them. Also a line from who remembers who it was , "but I miss the taste of chaos on my tongue". Man, those lit kids can write. I wish. Lauren's poem rocked my socks right off.

So, last week was CRAZY.

Yes, it was my birthday last week, on tuesday (yay me!). SO on tuesday I invited EVERYONE over to my hosue (yes a tuesday; the weekends were booked) and we all hung out in my basement and stuff. We watched madagascar and garden state, listened to music, played music (McC on guitar, Leaky and Matty on keyboard) and ate pizza. They wrote a song for me. I might post some of the lyrics, but they're pretty bad, so not all of them. The song is "army" with different, Evie-related lyrics.
Ex:

That's verse one. Mike makes an appearance in verse 2 with a more central role. I won't post it because I know he hates it, lol, but it's a great song. lol, such a party.
Also: McC is teaching me to play guitar! I know 4 chords so far, but he's going to teach me to play "Wonderwall". I love that song.

One last thing: www.pandora.com Oh my gosh, guys, this thing is amazing. You type in a song or group you like, and they play it and music like it. It's radio without commercials that never sucks!!! I love it.

Dec 28 - Jan 6: Where will you be?

That's right folks. No, it won't be an Invasion of the Canadians, it'll be oly me. So it'll be the Invasion of the Canadian. OH EM GEE! COMSTOCK COUNTDOWN: 43 days!!!

Yes. Yes. This is ACTUALLY HAPPENNING. I can't believe it. Now you must all organise your lives so that I will SEE YOU ALL. That is a direct order.

and more, of course (of course :P), but I'll just stop now :D.

Tomorrow is the big event. My dad is so worried about my having so many people over. But it'll be fun. I hope. I hope it won't suck.
Tomorrow, also, I will be in school. I stayed home today due to my cold and slept most of the day. Mike's per 1 was canceled, so he came over to hang out before he went in to school. Yeah, yeah Ave, everyone wants a Mike :D.

Last night was my birthday Friday Night Special (friday nights I hang with my mom, sister, mom's friend and her two kids. Every friday since forever.) I got Star Wars RotS as an early bday present and we watched it, and there was cake and lasagna. And Mike came. It was the best friday night special EVER.

And Harry Potter was awesome today. Tomorrow will be less awesome, since I need to clean my basement in prep for my party tuesday, but still. Good weekend so far. If tomorrow sucks, I'll think about my awesome friday and it'll be bearable.

Adam bet me in a game of poker and lost. I think he won me back this morning, btu I'm not sure. If Adam ever types up the list of who owns what I'll post it. It's hilarious. Adam own Europe, Asia, me and Mike (apparently we're a package deal now :P), Gabe's CD collection and so much other stuff. Gabe owns McC's CD collection, all the circles of hell and Nick Habbits, among other things. I think he owns Avery too. Isn't it great what students do with spares?

Man, I want a spare. All my friends have spares per 4, which is when I have music. Gah, I wish some days I could drop music. It's evil. I managed to slam my hand in my locker right before music, and had to spend half of music sitting with ice on my hand.

Lunch was extended by 15 minutes because we had a fire drill in the middle of lunch. It was cold, but I kept warm, as I ended up in the middle of a huddle of like 8 guys (Well, I was hugging Mike and they were all standing around together. It just worked out well for me :D.

After school, I hung out with a few of the not-uptight asian girls in the music room and we played orchestra music for a bit, then passed around instruments. I learned to play "In Dreams" from LOTR on the violin. I so hate the cello, I should have taken up violin. Gah. Too late now.

It's so wierd not having Avery at school. It's like before Avery started hanging out with the guys (I so discovered them first). I dunno. There's like this gap. Wierd.

One week til my birthday! w00t! Also, a week tomorrow I get contacts. Double w00t!
First Birthday festivity: My Birthday Friday Night Special (on friday... duh). It's Mike's intro to FNS. Should be fun. I've made everyone promise to be nice :D.

This Saturday, Nov 12, I will be seeing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Silver City. That's right. HP4 isn't really out until Nov 18!!!

Yes. AND I'm dressing up. And making Louise dress up. Yes, I so am Louise. I'm probly going to go with the wizard at the quidditch world cup who can't wear muggle clothes properly, like Jonah and I did this summer. PS: JONAH! email me when you read this. I want your help planning a costume. Actually this goes to all of you. Any ideas you have (contructive only please) let me know!!

Well, I guess I should post.

So I my life has been better than the last time I posted. I won't do an overview, cause that'd be boring. Instead, I'll just do my weekend.

I had a really good riding lesson. (Really good read: really painful). Lots of no stirrup work, which I suck at, and which hurts my legs, and back and abs. I'm currently sitting with hot water bottle against my abs, trying to make the pain STOP. Ouch.

I didn't do my homework this weekend. I managed to get chores done, and to practice cello, but my science didn't get done. I spent my weekend instead hanging out with Mike, Avery, and Mike and Avery at once. Good times. My mom interrogated Mike for like 45 minutes, but it was ok.

Anyway, Orchestra in the morning, and I'm sleep deprived, so I'm off to bed.

PS: My birthday is a week tuesday!
